Abstract

878,055. Fish washing. SCHEIDING, H. F. H. July 8, 1960, No. 23871/60. Class 28 (2). In washing fish passing through an inclined rotated drum 3 by jets of water from nozzles of a spray pipe 1, the drum is provided with an internal rubber tube and feed helix 11 and lifting and turning over horizontal strips 12 both of a soft elastic material with smooth edges and the drain holes or slots 10 are more numerous towards the outlet end of the drum. The spray nozzles may extend over the entrance and middle part of the drum only. A trough 13 catches the water and leads it away.
