Abstract

877,681. Cycle bells. LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd., JOSEPH. June 14, 1960 [June 17, 1959], No. 20745/59. Class 13. The bottom plate 3 of the casing is formed as a one-piece plastic moulding integrally with a pivot post 14 for the actuating lever 15 and a bracket 4 shaped at one side for engagement with a tubular part 5 of the cycle. A flexible metal strap 8, adapted to encircle the tubular part 5, is attached to the bracket 4 (which is of channel section) and may be tightened by means of a screw 6. The onepiece plastic moulding 3, 4, 14 may further include a central post 10 and a pivot post 19 for a pinion 18.
