Abstract
875,624. Shot cartridges. MORRITT, K. P. June 9, 1960 [June 9, 1959], No. 19753/59. Class 9(1) [Also in Group XXII] Lead shot for shot gun cartridges is given an indented surface e.g. by all-over dimpling. After formation into spheres, the lead shot is rolled between relatively movable platens having spherical projections on the working surfaces, the pressure of the platens on the shot being sufficient to form the required indentations.
