Abstract
875,381. Transistor switching circuits. ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Nov. 26, 1959 [Nov. 27, 1958], No. 38351/58. Class 40(6) In a logical system in which switching pulses are passed in a sequence of time slots through transistor switching circuits, the discharge of internal capacitances of a transistor switch, for example, T1, is speeded up during the transient switching off period by applying discharge pulses to the transistor from a low impedance source 5. Transistor switches, e.g. T1, T2 in common collector circuit, are connected together by way of AND gates D1 and OR gates D2. The low impedance pulse generator 5 is connected to the base circuits by way of diodes D3, D4, to provide large positive-going pulses which switch off the transistors rapidly at the end of each conducting period.
