Abstract
873,465. Head coverings. TAYLOR, A. L. May 16, 1960 [April 14, 1959], No. 12537/59. Class 63 A head-scarf comprises a band 15 secured along or adjacent part of one of its longitudinal edges to a piece of material 11 across a corner thereof and in a direction substantially vertical to an imaginery line bisecting the angle at the comer, the band having means for joining its ends together and to effect adjustment of its effective length for engagement with a selected part of the wearers head. As shown one free end 16 of the band carries a loop 17 while adjacent the other free end 18, a series of press studs 19 and a female counterpart 20 are provided. To join the ends, the end 18 is passed through the loop 17 and one of the spaced press studs 19 is engaged with the part 20 to secure the end 18 to the loop.
