In a casing for a grain conveyer or elevator of the kind comprising complementary opposed U-shaped sections 21, 22 secured together by outwardly-turned edge flanges 21a, 22a, the section 21 is composed of end units 1, 2, Fig. 9, and intermediate units 2, 6, 6 of the same or different lengths and the section 22 is made up of end units 5, 4 and intermediate units 3, 3, 7, 7, the arrangement being such that the intermediate sections are in overlap arrangement with the end sections and with each other.
