The electrical actuator can only be moved when the power is on, thus, if the power fails the member f is held until the power is re-connected. Fingers l may pivot downwards to allow the cage e to descend when the platform a is not raised out of the path of the cage. If the cage strikes the fingers l as it is rising the platform a pivots upwardly about pivot b.
