870,050. Measuring for brassieres. INVENTEX ESTABLISHMENT. April 2, 1958 [Dec. 17, 1957], No. 10545/58. Class 141 A bust-measuring device comprises a flexible band 10 calibrated at one or both ends 11, 12 for measuring the circumferential dimension and two shoulder bands 15, 16 secured to the band at 13, 14, their free ends 17, 18 being calibrated and slidably connected to the band 10 by passing them through slits 19, 20 or by means of slidable fasteners. An additional calibrated tape 21 for measuring the straight line distance between the nipples is attached to the band 10 at 22 and a further calibrated strip 23 for measuring the depth of the " valley " is fastened in a slit 24 in the tape 21.
