Abstract
866,210. Hoppers for aircraft. AUSTER AIRCRAFT Ltd. Aug. 20, 1957 [Aug. 31, 1956], No. 26609/56. Class 78 (1). A hopper secured to the wing of an aircraft and operated in the manner set out in Specification 866,209, has twin doors 18a, 18b which pivot about their upper horizontal edges and which have their open ends sealed by flexible panels 35, 36. Each such panel is secured at its edges 37a, 37b to the respective door so that, as the door closes the panel folds to seal the end.
