Abstract

A glue for the production of fungi-resistant plywood and similar materials comprises an alkaline-condensed phenol-formaldehyde resin and sodium or potassium pentachlorophenate, the latter preferably comprising from 1 to 20% by weight of the final glue, which may also contain fillers, e.g. slate dust, chalk and wood flour.
