A cover for the head of a screw &c. 4 comprises a washer-like-member 1 for positioning under the head, and a resilient-cap 3 to be.pressed under a bead 2 around member 1. In a modification, the cap has one or more tongues which are sprung or deformed outwardly under the bead.
