[Also in Group XXXV] The positive contact of a vibrating-contact voltage regulator (see Group XXXV) is at least partly composed of a metal of the platinum group in the Periodic System, preferably an alloy of 55 to 65% palladium and 45 to 35% copper. The co-operating contact may be of tungsten.
