Abstract

855,982. Parachutes. AERAZUR CONSTRUCTIONS AERONAUTIQUES. Oct. 6, 1958 [Oct. 7, 1957], No. 31770 /58. Class 4. A parachute has a canopy formed by two lengths of fabric 1, 2 assembled to form a cross, the edges of the fabric being selvedges 3, 4, 5 and 6, with reinforcing tapes affixed to the selvedges, and rigging lines 11-18 are attached to the corners of the lengths. Further lines 21-24 are attached to adjacent corners of the fabric, being of such a length as to draw the corners inwardly. The fabric is assembled with the tapes and lines by zig-zag stitching.
