854,829. Boxes ; packages. LANKHORST, P. Oct. 10, 1958 [Oct. 12, 1957], No. 32447/58. Classes 18 and 94(1). A set of tools, instruments or the like is packed in a block 1 of soft foamed plastic formed with recesses 3-7 so that each recess corresponds closely in shape to and exerts a frictional grip on the tool, &c. The block 1 is secured to a reinforcing sheet 2. To improve the grip on the tools each recess is slightly narrower at its mouth than at its bottom and is slightly deeper than the tool which it holds. The block 1 is covered with a thin transparent sheet of plastic.
