Abstract
853,265. Radiators for heating buildings. RANTE, E. Feb. 19, 1957, No. 5645/57. Class 64(2) Vertical tubes 1 of rounded oblong section have a tubular element 2 at each end for connection to horizontal headers 3 for the supply of hot water and the headers are set out at one side of the row of tubes 1 as shown in Fig. 2. The tubes may be in pairs, as in Fig. 3. Each pair in a plane at right angles to the axes of the headers 3. The tubes of a single row may each be at right angles to the headers or each set obliquely thereto but parallel to one another. In Fig. 5 the row is arranged in two groups in which the tubes 'are set obliquely to the headers but the angle of set of one group is supplementary to that of the other group.
