Abstract
849,073. Dropping loads from aircraft. BLACKBURN GROUP Ltd., and CLARK, F. M. Jan. 20, 1959, No. 2166/59. Addition to 829,401. Class 4. An assembly intended for dropping from aircraft is as in the parent Specification, except that the parachute in its pack 6 is placed on the shock absorbing covering 3 and is connected to the sling lines 4 by a wire 5. The parachute does not serve to extract the load from the aircraft, but the load is first jettisoned, after which the parachute is deployed by a static line 7 attached to a running line 8 on the aircraft.
