[Also in Group XVII] In apparatus for filling an aerosol container (see Group XVII) a slug of solder 32 is melted to close an aperture in the container base 5b by passing an electric current therethrough, the circuit being formed by an electrode 18 manually movable to engage the slug of solder and the container itself.
