847,424. Jaw crushers. KLOCKNERHUMBOLDT-DEUTZ A.G. March 26, 1958 [March 30, 1957], No. 9703/58. Class 59 [Also in Groups XXV and XXXII] In a jaw crusher with toggle drive for the movable crusher jaw 3 wherein the toggle drive comprises a connecting rod 8 reciprocable between the jaw 3 and an adjustable abutment 14 and two pressure members 19, 20 arranged respectively between the connecting rod and the abutment 14 and between the connecting rod and the jaw 3 and in which the jaw 3 is spring-biased towards the abutment 14, pressure bodies 9, 10, 12 18 are fixed to and project from the connecting rod, jaw 3 and abutment 14 to form bearing faces for the pressure members 19, 20 and the adjacent ends of the pressure members and pressure bodies are gripped between rubber strips 26 to 29 which are held in position by means of plates 30, 31 secured together by bolts 33. The rubber strips may be vulcanized to the plates 30, 31. A rubber strip 17 is located between the pressure body 12 and the base of a recess in the abutment 14.
