847,091. Collapsible tubes. VENESTA Ltd. Dec. 13, 1957 [Dec. 13, 1956], No. 38140/56. Class 66. A collapsible tube has a metal body 1 and a deformable resilient plastics nozzle 2 which has a flange 4 carrying a cushioning ring 5 which is deformed when the flange 4 is gripped between a shoulder 3 and a portion 6 of the body 1, thus forming a seal between body and nozzle. The ring 5 may be of triangular section. The nozzle may be of polythene, polypropylene, polyvinyl, or polyvinylidene chloride. Specifications 812,090 and 847,092 are referred to.
