Abstract

846,303. Dust shields for corners. MYERS, P. E. Oct. 6, 1958 [July 8, 1957], No. 21574/57. Class 20(2) A flexible strip 1 Fig. 1 or the arms 9-11 of an angle piece Fig. 2 for filling corners are of triangular cross-section and the ends are formed to provide a spigot and socket connection to adjoining parts. A cavity 2 may extend through the strip or arms 9-11 in which are engaged spigots for connecting the strip and arms together. The corner 8 of the strip may be truncated and the exposed face may be flat, concave or convex and the two engaging faces 5, 6 flat or. concave. The strip is shown for fitting to a salient corner Fig. 5 (not shown). The strip may be secured by adhesive such as a pressure sensitive adhesive covered by a tear-off protective strip.
