Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Abdeckbaugruppe, insbesondere eine Abdichtleiste, zur Abdichtung von Verbindungsfügen zwischen Fliesen innerhalb sanitärer Einrichtungen wie beispielsweise Bäder, Wannen und Duschkabinen. Dazu ist die Verbindung zwischen den Halteelementen und den Verbindungselementen kraft- und formschlüssig ausgebildet. Durch derartig ausgebildete und angeordnete Abdeckleisten wird ein wasserdichter und schimmelfreier Wandabschluss gewährleistet. Nachteilig an dieser Lösung ist jedoch die komplizierte Formgestaltung der Abdeckleisten und der damit verbundene hohe Herstellungsaufwand. Gelöst wird diese Aufgabe mit dem Mittel gemäß den beschreibenden Merkmalen nach Anspruch 1. Vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen der erfindungsgemäßen Lösung werden durch die kennzeichnenden Merkmale der Ansprüche 2 bis 7 beschrieben. Als Abdeckbaugruppen kommen Abdeckleisten zur Anwendung, die nach der Einfügung mit ihren den Wänden zugewandten Seitenflächen in den Eckbereich ganzflächig mit den Wänden verbunden werden. Insbesondere werden als Material für die Abdeckungsbaugruppen Natursteine und keramische Materialien verwendet. Die Abdeckbaugruppen bestehen dabei aus Materialien, die vorzugsweise mit den Materialien der abzudeckenden Flächen (z. B. Wände, Fußböden) identisch sind. Aufgrund der dadurch gegebenen gleichen Wärmeausdehnungskoeffizienten von Abdeckbaugruppen und den Elementen der abzudeckenden Flächen wird eine negative Beeinflussung der Elastizität der Verbindungsmaterialien weitestgehend verhindert. Durch die Formgebung der Abdeckbaugruppen entstehen größere Verbindungsflächen mit den abzudeckenden Flächen und eine damit verbundene höhere Haftfestigkeit der Abdeckleisten. Zusätzliche Anbringungen von die Haltefunktion stabilisierenden kompliziert geformten Verbindungselementen machen sich dadurch nicht mehr erforderlich. Die Verbindungen zwischen den Abdeckleisten und den Wandelementen werden durch einfach auszuführende Klebevorgänge hergestellt.
