846,136. Brushes. O'NEILL, G. Sept. 2, 1958 [Sept. 3, 1957], No. 27700/57. Class 19. Brush strip is formed by extruding or moulding a strip having a root portion B from one or both sides of which extend an integral leaf or leaves A, each leaf tapering outwards from the root portion. The strip is then partially or completely severed by making in it a series of parallel and straight or V-shaped cuts C. A ridge or ridges may be moulded on the strip to serve as spacer elements if the strip is to be doubled over upon itself for insertion into a brush stock.
