Abstract

843,877. Pneumatic conveyers; shoots. FULLER CO. March 14, 1958 [March 15, 1957], No. 8332/58. Class 78 (1). In rotary feeders for delivering pulverulent material to conveyers, packing machines and silos, a large space is provided between the rotary feeder 5 and its housing 6 and an inlet member 7 is pressed resiliently against the top of the feeder to seal the gap 8. The member 7 is suspended by a membrane 9 which is gripped between the flanges 10, 11 of the housing 6 and inlet 12. The member 5 may be a pocketed wheel.
