Abstract

842,670. Binding-posts mounting terminals. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO. Ltd. Dec. 17, 1958 [April 3, 1958], No. 10911/58. Class 38(1) In a printed circuit arrangement having the circuit 2 on one side of a panel 1 and components on the other, supports such as split pins 3 passed through ceramic spacers 4 are mounted in holes in the panel, the projecting ends being soldered to the circuit, the pins standing firmly from the panel. A component 5 is connected as shown to allow easy removal in case of a fault. The legs of the pin may be bowed to grip the sides of the panel hole (Fig. 3 not shown). An embodiment is described with lateral projections on the pin for use instead of member 4 (Fig. 2 not shown).
