840,816. Electromechanical resonators. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Ltd., DREDGE, C. J., and RICHES, E. E. March 6, 1958 [March 6, 1957], No. 7452/57. Drawings to Specification. Class 40(8). The invention comprises an electro-mechanical resonator as disclosed in Specification 840,815; but modified so that the composite bar resonator is of materials such that the velocity of waves transmitted there along is largely independent of temperature variation. The piezo-electric material is ceramic and the end portions of the bar may be of metal or of fused quartz.
