Abstract

840,476. Batteries. PEDDER, L. C., and PEDDER, R. L. April 10, 1958 [Jan. 6, 1958], No. 470/58. Class 53. The individual cell casings 1 of a multi-cell storage battery are each provided on one side with dovetail-sectioned ribs 3 which fit frictionally into correspondingly sectioned slots 2 on the other side of the adjacent cell casing and each cell is covered with a frictionally fitting lid 7 through which the cell terminals project. A filling aperture 13 is also provided in each cell lid.
