Abstract

838,303. Circuits employing bi-stable magnetic elements. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO. Ltd. Sept. 26, 1957 [Feb. 28, 1957], No. 6743/57. Class 40 (9). Two cores A, B of a binary counter are linked by a circuit including an open-circuited delay line L, Fig. 2, or by an equivalent network of lumped impedances KK &c., Figs. 3, 4, 5. The delay allows a pulse on terminals IP to die away before a resulting pulse from A becomes effective at B. When a delay line is used, as in Fig. 2, the pulse transmitted from A to B is followed by a number of pulses of decreasing intensity derived from reflections in the line L.
