838,194. Spectacle hinges. RODENSTOCK, R., [trading as OPTISCHE WERKE G. RODENSTOCK.]. July 18, 1958 [Nov. 21, 1957], No. 23202/58. Class 65(2) Between the barrel sockets 4 and the hinge flap 2 a pair of opposed grooves 5, 6 are cut so that in adjusting the side pieces 7 only the portion between the grooves is distorted. The grooves may be of either of the crosssections shown and are along their lengths equidistant from the outer surface of the hinge flap.
