Abstract

837,375. Mixing appliances. STETTER, G., [trading as STETTER BAUMASCHINENFABRIK, G.]. Sept. 19, 1958 [Dec.4, 1957], No. 30101/58. Class 86 A concrete mixer and agitator which may be vehicle mounted is provided with a water-tank 7 pressurized through pipe 15 with compressed air (which may be derived from the vehicle brake system compressor), and delivering water through pipe 18<SP>1</SP>. Another branch 18<SP>11</SP> (Fig. 2, not shown), may deliver water through the trunnions 8. A metering device may be incorporated. The drum 3 is rotated by an electric motor 10 (which may be operated by the vehicle batteries), through a reversible magnetic transmission. A magnetic brake is arranged to stop the drum when the filling hatch 23 is uppermost. Control may be effected from the driver's cab and from a control panel 25.
