837,157. Centrifugal separators. IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd July 25, 1958 [Dec. 31, 1957], No. 40400/57. Class 23 A hydrocyclone has a flexible tube 6 attached to the underflow outlet 5. The tube is normally bent to form a U but it may be straightened to clear a blockage in the underflow. The overflow exit 4 is level with the underflow outlet. Dimensions of the apparatus are given in the Specification.
