Class 97(1) An open - end spectacle case comprises an L-shaped frame 11 having a U shape in crosssection and an end 14 closed, and a piece of sheet material 12 bent as shown so that its longer and shorter edges 19 and 20 will fit within the corresponding sides of the frame 11 to which they are secured as by cementing or sewing. The sheet 12 may consist of a sheet of stiff paper or cardboard sandwiched between an inner flocked plastic layer and an outer decorated plastic layer.
