836,399. Potting electrical components. MURPHY RADIO Ltd. June 25, 1956 [June 23, 1955], No. 18214/55. Class 87(2). [Also in Group XXXV] An electrical component, e.g. a transformer, is potted so that its terminals are buried in potting resin and accessible by tunnels by a method which comprises supporting the component 1 in a dismountable container, supporting the terminals 6 on rods coated with silicone grease or wax which enter tunnels in the terminals pouring in resin and causing it to set, preferably in a vacuum, and withdrawing the rods and dismantling the containers.
