Abstract

832,179. Table for cleaning poultry. LARSEN, C. S. Nov. 13, 1958, No. 36603/58. Class 28 (2). A rotated work-table for convenience in eviscerating small animals, e.g. poultry, is provided with slightly sloping lower outer concentric zones 7, 8 to receive edible intestines 11 and offal 14 respectively cut out by several operators standing round the table. A brushoff device 9 directs the edible parts on to a shoot 12 while a lower brush-off device 13 directs the offal down a funnel 15. The table is mounted on a tripod 1 and is rotated by a motor and belt gearing.
