Abstract

830,014. Swash plate pumps. BINHACK, J. Dec. 18, 1956 [Dec. 19, 1955], No. 38579/56. Class 102(1). A rotating cylinder swash-plate pump, in which the cylinder block 1 rotates relatively to a valve plate 4, has the bearing surface 15 between these members lubricated by the hydraulic medium pumped. The hydraulic medium may flow to the bearing surface 15 through ducts 21, leading from the inlet and outlet passages 11, 12, provided with adjustable throttle valves 20 which may be adjusted through holes in the valve plate having closure devices 22. The duct 21 may also lead to a second duct which feeds the hydraulic medium to a groove in the valve plate. Alternatively the hydraulic medium may be fed from the cylinders through a duct which contains an adjustable non-return valve.
