Abstract
827,148. Discharge tubes. PATELHOLD PATENTVERWERTUNGS- & ELEKTROHOLDING A.G. Sept. 3, 1958 [Sept. 7, 1957], No. 28285/58. Class 39(1). An electrode system comprises a fixed tube 1, within which is mounted a movable member 3, and on which is mounted movably a further tube 8 ; member 3, under the action of a spring 13 at one end, imparts tension to a cage-like structure of grid wires 7 attached to its other end, while tube 8, under the action of spring 14, similarly tensions a cage-like structure of filament wires 12. The filament and grid wires are attached at one end to fixed rings 16 and 15 respectively. The slidable members 3 and 8 may have lugs which move in a guiding slot, to prevent any rotational movement.
