A machine for curving metal angles comprises two main rolls over which the angle passes, an intermediate roll beneath which it passes and a roll exerting an edgewise pressure on the angle to control lateral distortion thereof during bending. Main rolls 12, 13 having flanges 12a, 13a are adjustable on shafts 14, 15 by abutment nuts 16, 17. An intermediate roll 18 is mounted on a pin 19 secured in a fork 20 slidable vertically, in guides 21, 22 in front and rear frame members 10, 11 by a screw 24 moving a saddle 23 to which lower ends of the fork 20 are secured. A transverse pressure roll 25, formed with an annular recess 25a, is mounted in a block 26 on a spindle 27 slidably mounted on the pin 19 and supported by a guide pin 28. The roll 25 is positioned on the pin 19 by a packing piece 29 between the block 26 and the fork 20. The roll 25 is adjusted vertically in the block 26 by a screw 31 and yoke 30. The main roller shafts 14, 15 are slidable in their bearings and tie members 33, 34 between the front and rear frames 10, 11 extend forwardly to carry, slidably thereon, a pressure bar 35 pressed against the ends of the shafts 14, 15 by nuts 36, 37, rotated on the tie members 33, 34 by a shaft 40, to load the work against the roll 25.
