[Also in Group XXXVI] A photo-electric device comprises a differential photo-conductive cell directly connected to a motor which it controls and which displaces it, Fig. 1 (not shown). The cell (see Group XXXVI) is connected to a D.C. energizing source the motor winding being across two of the three cell terminals, Figs. 4 and 5 (not shown). The motor M may control a pen recorder 8, the cell Z1 being articulated from the motor shaft and pivot 5 for displacement to follow light spot L.
