A device for applying medicaments to cavities comprises a hollow body 1, of synthetic resin, having perforations 2 over the greater part of its walls, so that enclosed medicament can pass out into contact with the body. A closure plug 3 is fitted into a filling aperture and carries withdrawal means, such as a cord, for removing the appliance after use. The plug may also have recesses to facilitate gripping it when it is fitted to the container.
