853,241. Medicament applicators. MIRABET, J. M. C. Feb. 11, 1959 [Feb. 17, 1958]. No. 4745/59. Class 81 (2) An ear plug 1 is made of porous elastomeric material and has a central recess 2. The pores of the material and the bore 2 are used to hold liquid or pasty medicaments so that when the device has been placed in the ear, the medicament slowly passes out to the external canal. The introduction of medicament is also assisted by the slight squeezing of the plug when it is placed in the ear.
