818,677. Self-levelling platforms. AMERICAN MACHINE & FOUNDRY CO. Jan. 31, 1956, No. 3027/56. Class 78 (2). A self-levelling platform 28 is suspended by springs S acting through floating bars 44, 46 and through supporting chains 50, 52, 54, 58, additional chains 48, 56 being provided to interconnect and equalize the rotation of the shafts 22, 26 so that the platform is maintained level. The chain interconnection between the shafts may be made in several ways and, as shown, is by chain 48 connected between bar 44 and platform 28 and correspondingly by chain 56 between platform 28 and bar 46.
