818,207. Mine wall and roof supports. LOBBERT & CO. G.m.b.H. Sept. 17, 1957 [Jan. 23, 1957], No. 29176/57. Class 20(2) Mine lining frames adapted to be connected end to end and which bridge the distance between supports for mine walls and roofs and one of stirrup shape having arms 2 connected by struts 4 and ending in hooks 3 to engage the next frame, are provided with an anchoring rod 10 fixed at one end to the stirrup bridge 7 and at the other end projecting beyond the stirrup arms. The rod 10 which passes through a loop 8 of a mine 9 connecting the stirrup arms, strengthens the frame and may abut the mine wall or roof and is used particularly at the end of a mine gallery.
