815,455. Animal holding devices. GREENWOOD, H. C. Nov. 6, 1957 [March 19, 1957], No. 34576/57. Class 81 (a). A device for supporting a ewe that refuses milk to its lamb in a position in which the lamb may feed comprises a tubular metal frame 1 having cross-bars 6 forming a cradle and leg frames 2 adapted to be folded against the underside of the frame 1 when the device is not in use. The leg frames are held securely in the open position by slidable rings 9 encircling the parts 2b of the frames and the ends of cross-bars 7 welded to the tubes 5 in which the frames are pivoted. The ewe is supported on the device with its legs above the ground and depending in the spaces formed on either side of the narrow ends of the frame 1.
