813,781. Clamp fastenings. SUPERHEATER CO. Ltd., and BRITTIN, A. F. Nov. 15, 1955 [May 5, 1954], No. 13113/54. Class 44 [Also in Group XXXVIII] A thermocouple element (see Group XXXVIII), is secured in position in a carrier 2 by a clamp 20 which has three projecting lugs which engage in bayonet fashion with three radial lugs 14 spaced equally around the periphery of the carrier 2. The clamp 20 is provided with three clamping screws 23 which bear on the upper surface of an abutment member 22, the lowei surface of which engages a sleeve 5 of the thermocouple element 1.
