Abstract

809,578. Watch straps. FONTANA, F. Feb. 20, 1957 [March 3, 1956], No. 5693/57. Class 43 A watch strap 23, comprises a band of wires or thin metallic plates which increases in width and decreases in density at the ends which are passed round eyelets on the watch. The strap is shaped to tapered form by compressing a strip formed of wires or thin metallic plates between two lateral jaws. Plates applied at either side and at right angles to the strap and jaws set the strap. One plate is shaped whereby a narrow edge 6 is compressed to a greater extent leaving ends 7, 7a without the compressed edge for attachment to a buckle and watch eyelets.
