806,816. Flange protectors : stoppers. HOWARD, H. Feb. 5, 1957 [June 1, 1956], No. 16935/56. Classes 94(1) and 125(3). A protective cap for a circular flange on a pipe or container is made of rubber or like resilient material and comprises a cylindrical wall A, an end wall B and a lip C spaced from the wall B by the thickness of the flange to be protected, the lip C being formed with a tongue D to facilitate application and removal of the cap. The tongue D may be formed with a hole E through which a string or wire may be passed to support the cap when not in use.
