Sodium or barium silicate may also be present.ALSO:A cementitious composition for protection against X and nuclear radiations comprises a barium compound, graphite and a hydraulic binder. Specified binders are cement, e.g. Portland or natural, lime or plaster. The barium compound acts as an aggregate. Optional additions include setting acceleraters, sodium or barium silicate.
