Abstract

803,980. Dog beds. GODDARD & CO., Ltd., F. May 17, 1957 [May 18, 1956], No. 15608/56. Class 5(2). A dog bed comprises a rectangular main frame 3-6 of strip metal supporting a canvas bed 17, four combined legs and stays 10, the lower ends of which are turned out to form feet, and an upper frame 7-9 rivet-pivoted to the legs 10, the latter being apertured to receive bolts 15 which pass through the main frame and are secured by fly-nuts 16. The canvas bed 17 is attached to the main frame by an arrangement of grommets and wires rivetted to the main frame. If desired, the wires may be replaced by tension springs, e.g., as at 18. A fabric screen, Fig. 2 (not shown), of known type is secured in position on the frames by tapes.
