Abstract

800,788. Driving apparatus for endless conveyers. SVENSKA DATAREGISTER AKTIEBOLAG. Feb. 5, 1957 [Nov. 5, 1956], No. 3947/57. Class 78 (1). [Also in Group XVIII] A self-service checking counter comprises an electrically - driven band conveyer 1 and a cash register 2, the conveyer being moved intermittently in dependence on a control member operated by the cash register. The control member may be a switch in the circuit of the conveyer driving- motor, operated by the main shaft of the cash register, or it may be a timing relay connected in the circuit of the cash register motor, controlling a switch for the conyeyer motor. In either case the conveyer is moved a short distance each time the cash register keys are depressed. A further timing relay, operated by the release of the cash box, may be used to move the conveyer a longer distance during total taking. The customer collects the goods from the platform 4.
