799,651. Trays. LEESON, A. E'., and TOMLINSON, W. R., [trading as GREENLAND MANUFACTURING CO.]. Oct. 5, 1956, No. 30379/56. Class 128 A decorative tray has a base 13 surrounded by a wall 12 forming a recess 11 accommodating a picture card 15, which is inserted in a direction substantially parallel with the base, through a slot having a lower edge 23 inwardly staggered from its upper edge 18, leaving an uncovered margin 20 of the card to facilitate its manual removal. This may be further facilitated by forming an aperture in the base. Projections 19 may be formed on the base to increase the grip on the card. Retaining lugs 17 may be provided. A transparent, e.g. glass, cover 16 may be inserted with the card. The tray may have a surrounding frame 10 and feet 22. The base and wall may be a one-piece sheet metal pressing.
