Abstract
797,252. Agricultural implements. FORD MOTOR CO., Ltd. Feb. 13, 1957 [Feb. 13, 1956], No. 4948/57. Class 6(1). An agricultural implement such as a disc harrow is provided with a main frame 16 connected by means of a three point suspension to an A-frame which is adapted for attachment to a tractor power-tifted draft linkage. As shown the top of the A-frame 31 is connected by a strut 49 to the rear of the frame 20 and the front of the frame 20 is connected by links 41 to the lower part of the A-frame. Disc gangs 11, 12 are mounted on frames which are pivoted on bolts 18, 18<SP>1</SP> and are free to move along the frame 16, the frames being provided with portions 19 overlaying the frame, captive pins 26 being provided to lock the frames in position. The gang frames are provided with a brass member 27 having a bifurcated end which engages in the horizontal flanges of the front and rear members 29, 30. A forward extension 48 is mounted on the frame 16 and engages under the A-frame to limit the upward movement of the front of the harrow.
